Iblis before Iblis is the
Shadow of the Divine
In the First Rift, Iblis rejects a command from divinity to worship or pay homage to humanity. This vital sedition incites retribution, tumult, and tribulation.
In the context of the Iblisic narrative, the divine or divinity is god.
In other contexts enveloping the divine, it can be the spirit of an age, the highest ideals of a caste, or providence of laws that govern various natural cycles.
