The First Tenet

"There is a Door to the Shadow of the Divine"
The Nameless, Summer 2025

The First Tenet is derived from the First Rift in the narrative.

I.
The First Tenet
Iblis before Iblis is the
Shadow of the Divine

In the First Rift, Iblis rejects a command from divinity to worship or pay homage to humanity. This vital sedition incites retribution, tumult, and tribulation.

The divine is here taken to be a deity, but it can also represent the spirit of an age, the highest ideals of a caste, or providence of laws in natural cycles.

The First Tenet is that Iblis before Iblis is the shadow of the divine.
