The Wells of the Frame

The frame refers to the frame of life; life conceived as a whole... the entirety of a life, from birth to death. Each well draws on the metaphor of groundwater, as it pulls up from the depths something useful and viable. Particular routes of the pathway, such as eremitism, take the frame more seriously, but the wells are instructive in the pathway as a whole and applicable in all contexts.

This is the well of the noumenon, depth, vitality, essence, and eternality.

II.
The Well of the Mind

This is the well of ideation, remembrance, learning, thought, and reflection.

III.
The Well of the Heart

This is the well of invigoration, ardor, passion, affection, feeling, and torment.

IV.
The Well of the Blood

This is the well of consanguinity, descent, tumult, virulence, and vehemence.

V.
The Well of the Flesh

This is the well of the corpuscular, tangibility, sensation, the skin, and tissue.
